New Client Facials
&
New Client Facials for Acne

We know it can be hard to decide which skincare services are right for you.

If you're looking for a pampering and relaxing facial experience, we recommend the Relax & Restore and The Lux facials, which you can read about here.

If you're looking for a facials that target specific skin care concerns, we recommend the New Client Facial and the New Client Facial for Acne.

At both services you'll get an in-depth consultation with one of our estheticians, an express facial with products picked out just for you, and time to review your skin care routine and the types of products that are appropriate for your skin type.

An outline of all of the components to each of these services is below. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Step 1: Intake

Three days before your appointment, we'll email you a link to fill out your intake paperwork. The questions on the intake forms are about your lifestyle, family history (as it relates to skin care), skin care goals, allergies and medications.

If you're in for a New Client Facial for Acne, we'll have you review some Face Reality-specific paperwork at this time.

Step 3: Observ Photos

The Observ camera uses different wavelengths of light to take in-depth images of your skin. These images will show us oil production, pigmentation (even the pigmentation that hasn't risen to the surface of your skin yet), and high resolution images of the texture of your skin. We use this information in combination with your skin care goals to decide what products to use on your skin.

Step 5: Product Recommendations

After your facial, your esthetician will step out so that you can get changed again.

Next, we'll review the products you're already using and the products we carry that we recommend for your skin type and help you put together a skin care routine.

There's no pressure to purchase new products--if you want to purchase an entirely new line of skin care products, we'll help you pick them out. If you'd like to start by using up what you have at home, that's fine too.

If you have acne-prone skin, we'll also give you a list of ingredients to watch out for in your skin care and beauty products that are likely to cause irritations and breakouts.

Step 2: Consultation

Your esthetician will already have reviewed your intake paperwork when you come in, so her first question will be: what are your biggest skin care concerns? Next, you'll talk about the products you use, the order you use them, and any other concerns you might have.

Step 4: Your first facial

Your esthetician will step out of the room so that you can change and get comfy on the bed.

When your esthetician comes back in, she'll help make any adjustments you need to be more comfortable including adding a pillow or bolster under your knees or turning up or down the bed warmer.

When we say bespoke, we mean bespoke. All of the products your esthetician uses in your first (and future!) facials will be chosen specifically to meet the needs of your skin.

Many of the products we use we mix in custom blends so that each step of the facial provides the maximum benefit possible.

If you're getting a New Client Facial for Acne, we'll use a special line of products by Face Reality which are designed to be gentle and effective on acne-prone skin.
